I think I’ve finally cracked the code on building the perfect summer capsule wardrobe for the coastal states. I packed 25 outfits—enough for two weeks in New England—without checking a bag! Early summer up here means warm days and cool nights, so I’ve packed for both. Think lobster boils on the beach, s’mores by the lake, long walks through charming seaside towns, and lazy afternoons in Adirondack chairs by the sea.
The 25 Outfits:
Below you’ll find images of each outfit along with links to the pieces featured. Wherever possible, I’ve linked the exact items—otherwise, I’ve included lookalikes for anything that’s out of stock or season! Shop all the items here.

And that’s a wrap! I’d love to know if there’s a destination you’d like me to create a capsule wardrobe for this summer. This was way too much fun to put together—even if it did take about 100 hours :)
Also great use of a tight color palette. Such great looks.
Emily, do you use packing cubes? I would love to see you packing that small suitcase! I’m in awe of your packing prowess. Thanks for a wonderful resource
